Tamang Heritage Trekking

Tamang Heritage trekking is the newly opened trekking route in Langtang Region. This trekking route covers tamang people culture, religion and daily lifestyle of their community which offers both type of trek (camping and home stay). You will make an interesting trek through Tamang villages, Rhododendron forests and next to huge rocky way up Tamang area.Tamang people came from Tibet and have hardly seen any tourists so this trek is always waiting for tourists to kiss with its nature, love and hug with hearty welcome in the Tamang heritage.

The tamang village culture is virtually untouched. There are still bears, leopards, red panda and musk deer that however are no danger. In Spring, the Rhododendron forests have many different species of trees with blooming, birds are singing and butterflies are dancing.   

Quick Information

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport and Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1467m).
Day 04: Syabrubesi Trek to gatlang(2238m).
Day 05: Gatlang Trek to Tatopani(2607m).
Day 06: Tatopani Trek to Thuman(2338m).
Day 07: Thuman Trek to Briddim(2229m).
Day 08: Briddim Trek to Lamahotel(2470m).
Day 09: Lama Hotel Trek to Langtang Valley(3430m).
Day 10: Langtangto Trek to Kyanjing Gompa(3850m).
Day 11: Kyanjing Trek back to Lama Hotel(2470m).
Day 12: Lamahotel trek back to Syabrubesi.
Day 13: Syabrubesi drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 14: Free Day in Kathmandu, shopping and farewell dinner.
Day 15: Final Departure from Kathmandu, back to your country.
