Langtang Valley Trekking

Langtang Valley lies on the North West from Kathmandu situated in Langtang National Park and the bordering of Tibet. It is a small valley between the main Himalayan range of the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. In this area the main attraction mountains peaks are Langtang Lirung (7246m), Gang Chhenpo (6388m) and Naya Kanga ri (5846m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m). The other main attraction for this trekking is Gosainkund lake which is the pilgrimage holy Place.

This trip begins from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi by Bus. It is the starting point of the trek. While walking on the way of this trekking we can see the wildlife, Himalayan black bear, goat-like Himalayan Tahr, Rhesus monkeys and Red Pandas, Rhododendron, bamboo and Oak forests. Also we can see the langtang valley people of tamang and sherpas village with their traditional culture.

Quick Information

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport and Transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.

Day 03: Drive to Shyabru besi 1450m.

Day 04: Shyabrubesi to Lama Hotel - 2480m.

Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang village 3541m.  

Day 06: Langtang village to  Kyangjing Gompa 3800m. 

Day 07: Kyangjing Gompa and  day hiking.

Day 08: Kyangjing Gompa to Lama Hotel.

Day 09: Lama Hotel to Shyabru village.

Day 10: Morning 2 Hours Trek then Drive back to Kathmandu. 

Day 11: Free Day in Kathmandu, shopping and farewell dinner.

Day 12: Transfer to Airport On time for Departure.
