Dhampus Trekking

Dhampus is a village and Village Development Committee in Kaski District in the Gandaki Zone of northern-central Nepal. Dhampus Trek is the short and fantastic trek that starts from Phedi which is at 30 mins driving distance from Pokhara. We drive past lovely farmland and villages to reach Phedi. From there we climb through beautiful forest and countryside for the next 3 hours and reach the hill top named Dhampus. We can see a long range of the Himalayas; the view is very close and spectacular.

This trek offers spectacular mountain scenery and takes you north of Annapurna & Mt. Machhapuchare (Fishtail) ranges. You will have views of mountains from Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna, including the magnificent Mt. Machhapuchare (Fish Tail).

Quick Information

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport and Transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.

Day 03: Morning drive are fly to pokhara and transfer to Hotel Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04: After Breakfast drive to Phedi and start trek to Dhampus, 3 hours. Overnight at Guest House. 

Day 05: Trek from Dhampus to Sarangkot, 5 hours. 

Day 06: Early Morning view the Sunrise from the Hotel and after breakfast trek down to Pokhara. Alernatively, You can do a Paragliding Flight from Sarangkot.

Day 07: Morning Flight back  Pokhara to Kathmandu Transfer to Hotel.

Day 08: Free Day in Kathmandu, shopping and farewell dinner.

Day 09: Transfer to Airport on time for Departure.

  •      Hotel in Kathmandu as per the itinerary with BB plan.
  •      Kathmandu - Pokhara flight and Pokhara - Kathmandu transportation by tourist bus.
  •      Hotel in Pokhara as per the itinerary with BB plan.
  •      Annpurna Conservation permit.
  •      TIMS permit.
  •      Meals on full board Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner during the trek.
  •      Accommodation on tea houses as per the itinerary.
  •      Experienced English speaking, government licensed and ministry of tourism trained trekking guide.
  •      Strong experienced Sherpa helpers (porters) with meals, , salary.
  •      Insurance for Nepali Staff.
  •      Assistant trekking guide for groups over 6 people with meals, salary.
  •      Comprehensive first aid medical kit carried by the guide.
  •      welcome or farewell dinner in Kathmandu at a cultural restaurant.
  • International airfare, Nepal visa fees (two passport photographs), travel and medical insurance, emergency evacuation
  • Personal nature expenses (bars and beverage bills, hot shower, telephone, laundry, etc.)
  • Costs arising from natural calamities, mishaps or anything beyond our control ( Costs are not refundable and transferable in any mean if you leave the trek voluntarily and want to return from the trek)
