Shivapuri Trekking

Shivapuri Trekking is popular for wildlife area. It is second highest hill in Kathmandu valley. It is located in the country's mid-hills on the northern fringe of the Kathmandu Valley and named after Shivapuri Peak of 2,732 m altitude. It covers an area of 159 km2 in the districts of Kathmandu, Nuwakot and Sindhupalchowk, adjoining 23 Village Development Committees.

This trekking was begin from Budhanilkantha and end at Nagarkot or Dhulikhel as per the visitors requirement. It is an excellent trip for those who wish to avoid a long strenuous trek or only have time for a short and easy trek. This trek can be done throughout the year as each season adds beauty and majesty to this trek. The Main attraction of this trekking is wildlife animals, natural beauty, Nepali typical village culture, Nagarkot sunrise view.

Quick Information

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport and Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.Day 03: Kathmandu/Kakani (2066m).
Day 03: Kakani to Shivapuri (2729m).
Day 04: Shivapuri to Mulkharka (1894m).
Day 05: Mulkharka (1894m).
Day 06: Mulkharka to Chisopani (2194m).
Day 07: Chisopani to Nagarkot (2175m).
Day 08: Nagarkot to Dhulikhel (144m).
Day 09: Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha (1982m) and to Balthali (1730m).
Day 10: Balthali  Rest day.
Day 11: Balthali to Lakuri Bhanjyang (2000m).
Day 12: Lakuri Bhanjyang to Lubhu Village (4203ft to 5280ft).
Day 13: Lubhu Village to Kathmandu.
Day 14: Rest time for Self Souvenir Shopping time. Stay in Hotel.
Day 15: Transfer to Airport on time for Departure.

  • All transfer with airport pick up and drove.
  • Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu with breakfast as per the program.
  • Three meals in a day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) with hot beverage and snacks whilst on trekking.
  • Guesthouse or Tented camp accommodation whilst on trekking.
