Manaslu Expedition

Mt Manaslu (8000m) is the eight highest peaks in the world.  The name Manaslu comes from the Sanskrit word ‘manasa’ .it means ‘intellect’or ‘soul’. Probable rushes in bad weather, crevasses and slippery snow make this mountain a few distinct from other mountains in Nepal.  Usually, four camps will be set up in the approached of the mountain .There will be a few extends of steep climbing and crevasses from camp 1 to camp 2. Camp 2 to Camp 3 required slippery snow climbing. Avalanches are a risk from camp 3 to camp 4. It was first climbed by a Japanese Expedition team in 1956.
