Kathmandu Valley is the capital city of Nepal. Kathmandu includes the Kathmandu District, Lalitpur District and Bhaktapur District. Most of Kathmandu's people follow Hinduism and many others follow Buddhism. The Kathmandu valley was accorded the status of a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the year 1979.
Chitwan is very famous for jungle safari tour in Nepal. Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal which is situated in Chitwan District. It was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. The major attractions for this area are Jungle walk, jeep safaris, rafting, elephant safari, tharu cultural dance and canoeing. Another popular place in this area is Sauraha, which is a well-known spot for tourists. There are lots of hotel and lodge close to the Chitwan National Park for stay.
Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Buddha. It is the Buddhist pilgrimage site situated in the Rupandehi district of Nepa which is listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1997. The Pilgrimage holy site of Lumbini has ruins of ancient monasteries, a sacred Bodhi tree, an ancient bathing pond, the Asokan pillar and the Mayadevi temple, where the precise place of birth of Buddha is located. From early morning to early evening, pilgrims from various countries perform chanting and meditation at the site.
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu International Airport, Meet with Alpine Journeys Treks & Expedition Representatives then Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
Day 03: Early in the morning go to Chitwan by bus.
Day 04: Full day jungle safari activities in Chitwan National Park.
Day 05: Back to Kathmandu by bus or flight then final departure from Kathmandu.
